Hi all.. I am hoping for some words of wisdom from fellow BCF'ers.

I have real problems seeing behind me using the mirrors on the Bandit 650, K5. I am considering fitting bar end mirrors, like these...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Billet-Bar-End-Mirrors-SUZUKI-SV650-SV1000-GSF-600-650-1250-Bandit-/321040824638?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item4abf86393e

I am very broad shouldered and my elbows obscure the view in my mirrors. I think that fitting bar ends like those will go some way to solving the problem. My thinking is based on the view I get in the bar end mirror on my MTB, which is excellent.

So, the advice I am looking for is twofold. Firstly, are the choice of mirrors a good idea and do they make a difference? And also, what can be done with the redundant fitting points on the fairing?

Cheers... Al

Instead of getting bar end mirrors you can buy extenders that work with your existing mirrors. This means you won't have to worry about blanking off the existing holes.
