I have a 1999 honda hornet and the rear suspension could do with being stiffened up really, after looking at ridiculously expensive ohlins, hagon etc. Shocks, I started looking at the progressive hyperpro springs. Anyway my questions are...

Does this spring make a noticeable difference once fitted or is it more likely to be the shock itself that is fucked, rather than the spring?

How difficult is it to fit?

Thanks for any help Smile

The hardest part is quit likely going to be getting the rear shock off the bike, 14 years of not being removed will have taken it's toll.
Once the shock is off you will need spring compressors like these to compress the spring for removal.
Whether or not this will sort your problem I don't know but it could probably do with new oil and regassing as well.
