Internets is serious stuff, I speed regularly but within reason of safety and don't brag about it over the web or ask how to get out of it once i'm caught (cos it hasn't happened Razz )

I saw a biker cop doing 88mph up the hard shoulder the other day.

So i followed him to pick up some riding tips.

Sounds like they just thought they'd make an example of him, my sister's at uni in york and it does have a speeding/racer problem.

I guess they just figured this might stop as many youngsters from killing them selves on country bends at 3 in the morning.. which happens a lot! in york apparently.

I don't speed or at least i don't intend to, every now and again i might overtake ad go 5 miles over briefly Rolling Eyes to be honest i think there's a time and a place for it, and if you wanna go fast go out at night with a couple of mates wear some really good gear be safe and responsible about it and do it somewhere you wont crash and kill yourself or anyone else and generally not bother anyone.

Maybe a straight very familiar country road, with high visibility, one you wont get caught, two your no danger to yourself and others 3 your just not being stupid about it.. Laughing Laughing

Reminds me of the story of the stupid woman who knocked over a cyclist and then tweeted about it saying she had the right of way because he didnt pay "road tax"
