I have been riding my gs125 problem free for a while now but What i have recently found is that it cuts out in wet and windy weather (or at leat thats when it seems to happen).

During wet n windy weather yesterday, i had done 7 - 8 miles no problem, when it suddenly just started to slowly cut out, The lights on the dashboard and the headlight also faded out along with the engine. I tried to start the bike straight after with no joy. I waited 30 seconds and it started fine and i continued home with no problems. It has done this 3 - 4 times now and am starting to get conserned. Could it be the Alternator? Coil? Regulator? I am assuming its an electrial issue due to the lights fading along with the engine.

I did a multimeter test on the battery with the bike running and it shown between 13 - 14v, i though this was about right? I have also fully charged the battery although i dont think that is the problem.

any ideas?

thanks!
