Nope, not really, so your comment was pretty useless.

In theory it should work, you can use Bluetooth to play music, I've had Googlemaps work through wired headphones

I would think with a top end phone like yours it should be capable, afaik the phone is the limiting factor. Loosely based on my Scala and Nokia Lumia combo.

Yea, Google Maps navigation works fine. You can also stream music from your phone to your Scala comms, and you can also get an app which will read out incoming text messages to you.

I use a script written for an app called Tasker for that, much more flexible than a single app solution. Also lets me know who's calling and controls profiles in set locations/conditions.

Back to the OP - I use both Google nav and Sygic navigation, both work fine via a bluetooth headset, both mute music and announce as you'd expect. I'm currently working on a throat mic setup to enable better voice control while moving.

Have you updated the scala firmware? Also, with my HTC, because it was first paired to a plantronics Bluetooth headset, even though my scala is 'paired', when I want to use it, I have to go into my phones Bluetooth settings and disconnect from my plantronics and then connect to the scala.

You can update the firmware here -> https://www.cardosystems.com/download/softwareupgrade, but if it worked fine with the iPhone, the problem appears to be with the HTC. When you go into your bluetooth settings, does it say it is connected to the Cardo headset, or that it is just paired to it?

It might be. It does connect and all shows paired but nothing streams through the headset

Paired doesn't mean its connected. I have 3 bluetooth devices 'paired' to my phone, but I have to tell it which of the 3 I want it to connect to.

Sorry I meant connected, and to allow audio from the phone, but still nothing comes through

Is your phones software up-to-date? I know its a new phone, but there could still be updates to the software if its a known bug.
