Im old enough to drive in November and as my friend is off to uni in october , he's looking to sell his car.

Its a Peugeot 206 Look , 51 Plate with 67K on the clock.

He wants £700 for it as that's what he bought it for a year ago.

Is this a good deal or should i steer well clear ?

Cheers , Tom.

Christ Shocked on second thoughts take the 206, its unlikely to cost a grand a year in repair bills.

I used to hire a lot of Peugeots and found the pedals in the 206 too close together. I had a lot of trouble using the clutch whilst braking at the same time, I've only got size 8 feet as well. I always went for the 307s at the time, lots of foot room on the pedals there. I'd get a test drive before you decide.
