As some of you know I got knocked off my bike last week and the bike ended up in a bad shape.
Now I will be creating this thread to show how transformation of my bike from that red 2010 r125cc > crash > resurrection (r125 2013 fairing gunmetal). Now this process cost me less than £600, enjoy.

Front ended collosion destroyed the front end forks, fairing etc…

Now my mate gives me a hand in fitting H.I.D kit/fairing installation, as he’s a tight bastard he took payment in some of my old fairings.

Don’t take of the rims, I will be swapping them with black rims on Monday. Very Happy

Big lock, mild steel railing!

At least lock it to a thick part of the railing so it takes longer than 5 seconds to cut through.

Did you get the yokes checked or change them? The first photo where you can really see the fucked forks makes the right hole on the bottom yoke look fucked Laughing

Bottom yoke replaced top yoke was fine. I compressed the forks 100 time.. and all seems fine.

Does look a little nicer, but I would be on the side of Marmalade here, I could probably steal your bike in a few minutes. I've never attempted before, but I reckon I could. Laughing

I can't get both bikes chained in that position dude..

I know Sad.. I could remove the rear wheel (if not chaining through swing arm).. destroy the fence.

Do you know of any companies who you can pay to install wall/ground anchor?

Was that a write-off-buy-back then? Or the at-fault party's insurer has at least fully established the condition that it was in after the crash?

Now... what are you doing putting a 125 back on the road when you've got a license?

Buy the ground anchor and get parents to borrow something to smash to floor to bits or di with pick axe, will look rough but your bike will still be there in the morning Thumbs Up

Other party is a fault its clear cut... crash report done, right off and i get to keep it... I'm just in the stage of filling more forms

So all in all you get a nice payout and hopefully your premium isn't affected, I know after my two crashes my insurance came out cheaper somehow Confused

Saying that, might be down to time i've had it and now having a license and statistics for re-crashers or something

Looks banging mate, much prefer the colour scheme now.

All the best with the insurance bollox's, but surely a sensible 500 will be as much insurance wise as your yzf?

I think he has just received unnecessary hate, hate which is down to his choice in bike. I actually 'lol' at a lot of his posts, not at him but with him.

He has been riding that thing ages. he learnt to rde on it. has his first thrills on it. had his first crash on it. rebuilt it himself. made it his. he has history now with that bike. if I was him I would keep it. I would have prolly built an emotional attachment to it by now Thumbs Up

The gunmetal panels suit that bike a lot more than the red/orangey coloured ones that were on there, in a slightly twisted way that guy did you a favour destroying the others...

Good job though, apart from the wheels it looks bang tidy Thumbs Up

Kk.... I'm going to buy another almax chain 2 meters + and an ground anchor... hopefully with the longer chain, i won't be limited in the way i position/ chain my bike.

Dig hole, ram a few iron rods into hole, fill with concrete, stick hardened metal into concrete to loop the chain through.
