Did anybody else used to put a cardboard divider on the screen so you couldn't see what everybody else was doing?

I was KING of goldeneye for a long time until everybody demanded we cut up a beer box and properly spilt the screen.

I never had any problems completing the game, although I might need to fire up the emulator as it's been years since I played any games on there
