Reading the 'Hi Vis Vest' post in New Bikers got me thinking, what would be a good slogan or image to get us noticed and hopefully steered well clear of? Immediate ideas to me are:

High Explosives
This Way Up
Achtung Walrus!

... run with it BCFers...

Funnily enough I was looking for inspiration too. Maybe we could get some NobCat ones printed up. That'd get us noticed Laughing

My personal favourite is one that I see some guy wearing [coming into London], it's a cartoon of a biker kicking off someone's mirror with the caption saying something like "You're not using it, so you won't be needing it..."

I think something like:

Back-off Arsehole!

is appropriate.

how about:

you're even uglier in my mirrors.

you could have:

I'll be at yours, doing your wife up the Gary before you get home.

but that's a bit long winded.

So we need to keep it short and snappy? I do a lot of filtering so how about:

Y Q ?

I used to see a chap riding in a police hi-viz jacket with the word POLITE on the back. Sort of funny, but you know you’re gonna get pulled.

<--- Byatches, please. Hand

If I did more filtering, then I'd be tempted to go:

H/WAY
CODE
211-213

Although getting the URL clickable might be problematic. QR code it? Thinking

How about for people who do a lot of filtering:

Just been caught shagging the neighbours wife.

Just robbed the jewellers

I need a shit soooo bad

My house IS on fire

Throttle jammed AND brakes fucked

Have You seen what's behind you?

I knew the gap was big enough, sorry about the mirror.

I only have a small one, but it still kicks your engines arse

There's a guy around here with a fluorescent stickered GS and POLITE on the back of his jacket. He rides like a total tool and seems to do everything short of parking in a gap to impede your progress when filtering along one of the longest and busiest stretches of road we have.

If I was having anything on my jacket it would be:

In the event of an accident do NOT take me to the Alexandra Hospital.

Or a troll face, I like that idea.

I think some of you may need to familiarise yourselves with S.5 Public Order Act if some of the suggestions in this thread are semi-serious! Laughing

Now, now, Lauren Order's new best chum Theresa May was just after saying that it will be OK to "insult" again, so as long as we avoid "threatening" and "abusive" words that don't harass, alarm or distress her, we should be fine.

The whole 'reform section 5' campaign was ridiculous. Didn't explain the law clearly to the public with their propaganda in order to get a following. It has never been outlawed to be insulting, only when the insults get to the point where they are likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

None of their publications seemed to mention the latter bit, only that insults had been outlawed, which was simply untrue. But this is for a different thread.
