I'm stuck deciding what bike to choose,

Honda CB400 Super four Or Honda NTV650 Deauville.

What ever bike i choose will have to be restricted down to 46.6 Bhp, i'm looking for a bike that is good 2 up, and wont suffer to much being restricted.

Any suggestion?

I have a budget of £1000 cash or £4000 finance.

Thanks Brendan

Your dream bike is a Gold Wing, IIRC, so the Dullsville is the appropriate step towards that. You'll have a hard time finding one under £1K though.

35kW restrictors are on eBay for the pre-2004 carbed model, but the thing is, that only claimed 41kW from new, so a "is 35kW honest" PaddyCerttm might be just fine.

have you tried riding either of them?

i would never have ended up with the b4 unless i tried it and found it a suprising amount of fun.

that being said you will have to take into account the sort of distances you are going to be riding, the 400 could get a bit buzzy after a few hours on the road

Thanks for the replies, i have ridden a deauville, it suits my needs the most i think were planning on doing some camping this year.

I have seen a few decent enough ones online around the £2000 mark.

Any suggestions of what would suit long trips 2 up with gear.

I will admit i quite like cruiser. (slated now)

The Deauville i seen is the 2003 model, so the restrictors will fit, do there have to be fitted my a certified mechanic or can you do it at home?

Thanks Brendan

A bike designed for long trips two up with gear?

Something such as a Deauville?
