I have a pilot jet completely seized with a ruined thread in the carb.
The jet itself is about 2cm within the carb body, so obviously i cant saw a new head on it, and as its a brass jet screwed into a soft ally case i cant hammer a new thread onto it either.
In another forum someone suggested using a pin vice:

And using a 1mm drill bit to hand drill a hole in the centre of the jet. Then, working a small allen key in the hole with a small amount of super glue on the end. Letting it dry, and then removing the jet with the allen key.

Is this idea likely to work? Any tips before i order the pin vice and give it a shot? Would rather not fuck it up and having to buy a new carb...
