Hi all. Just bought a cheap yamaha cygnus x 125 scooter for my lad. Specs say plug should be a CR7E and there is a CR8E in there. Will this make any difference to performance? Thanks Wink

I think the 7's are hotter than the 8's. use whatever the manual says.

It will not make a noticeable difference.

The 8 is a grade colder than the 7 so won't cause any overheating problems. If it fouls the plug then try putting the std 7 grade back in. It won't make any difference performance wise so long as its running ok.

It's seems to be running fine. Plug is a light tan colour so I believe this is about right. Thanks for feedback.
