 |
|
need to replace the battery on my CG125, came across this one:
https://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/cg_125_w/98-00/picture/battery_motobatt_sealed_high_torque/
it mentions its high torque - but i'm left wondering what this means and will it affect anything on my bike?
and when it says maintenance free - does this mean no topping up of battery acid? will it still need trickle charging over the winter months when its left alone?
advice/info appreciated.... |

produces a lil extra cranking power, won't need topping up.
Motobatt are known to be good reliable batteries
won't affect anything else on the bike ____________________ Current: Honda City Fly CLR125 2003 Honda CB600F Hornet 2008 Yamaha FZ6 S2 + 1991 Kawasaki GPZ500

lol, no it wont harm the bike,
they are just better than standard wet batteries,
its a glass matt battery, so even it the battery is smashed it wont leak,
and you can't top them up, you never need to,
while they do hold there charge for a lot longer than a lead acid, its always good practice to ocassionally trickle charge the battery, or atleast go for a blast,
i had a agm battery in my vf1000 (absolute pig to start) and even after 6 months of sitting uncharged it would still easily turn over the bike ____________________ the humans are dead
