Does anyone know which forum members live in Inverness?

I want to buy a bike I have spotted on Ebay but I live in bloody Surrey and its too far away. I would be willing to just get it couriered to me but I want to make sure its not a complete fuck up before I buy it and was hoping someone would be willing to have a look at it for me.

Can pay beer and petrol monies.

If you think it might need bar risers, don't buy it.

pm me your phone number as it may well be quicker to contact you. I am usually way too busy in my new job to just log into here.

Well I seem to be doing fine on the Ducati so how about you leave that decision to me......

Oh and helpful my arse - you couldnt be more sarcastic if you tried.

Fortunately I have a whole shed full of NC30 farings so should be able to get it back to standard pretty easily. It looks a good buy if all is ok with it.

Shereen, not only do the guys know the bike, they know the young lad Ersan Uzunoglo who has in their words tried to build it with absolutely no knowlege of what hes doing, their sagely advice is to avoid it like the plague, even if it were working properly it wouldnt be worth anywhere near what hes asking for it. Its had nothing but problems.

they guy who told me this fixes bikes for a living, sorry it wasnt good news.

I just wanted it as a run around and to commute on. Most NC30 have high ish miles and lots of owners. 8 owners and 35k miles is fine for these bikes.

I have a whole heap of sares and fairings etc so it would have been a cheapo bike to mess around on. I still love these bikes even after riding the duke - they are great fun and super easy for me to commute on.

Well that settles that then. Thanks for helping though. Thumbs Up Karma
