CBT from Santa and that was fine.

Theory and Haz Per over Easter and again, not a prob.

A day with the instructor on Sunday ready for MOD1 on Tuesday lunchtime.

Getting nervous now, but hopefully should be OK.

Will report back after the holidays

Smile

Wish me luck

Good Luck. Try to keep the nerves at bay, the instructors are nice guys for the most part and want to see new riders on the road. The most nervous part for me was waiting in the waiting room before the test. Once you get out there, it's all business.

You won't need luck Smile just a little concentration.

Just treat it as a small set of procedures, take a couple of breaths between each one, do your obs, go wide as you like on the figure eight and if you feel your losing balance think throttle not foot. Don't make a big deal of it. Its only 15 minutes of your life and you can do it again.

THINK THROTTLE NOT FOOT Smile

Make sure you have all your document on the bike or in your jacket the night before.
Consume the holy food of the biker god (bacon sandwich) before you leave.
Arrive half an hour early, no more, no less, gives you a chance to relax in the friendly club house atmosphere.
Concentrate on each exercise, two slow deep breaths before you start (remember it isn't a race).
After each exercise forget it ever happened.

And don't forget to do loads of lifesavers.

Mod1 is as much about getting your head in the right place as anything else.

Yeah the main bit is acting up to this 'life saver' bollocks. MOD1 makes perfect sense as a test, apart from that you need to unnaturally look over your shoulders when every ounce of your peripheral awareness tells you with resounding confidence that the whole court is clear anyway. Really bugs me, that box ticker. Makes sense on the road, but in MOD1 it's utterly ridiculous.

Ok that was a rant Laughing

Good luck Thumbs Up . Basically the examiner is just gonna ask you to do a bunch of things you've already done before. Read that last sentence twice.
