Why did you buy it from KJM superbikes?

Nice, I got a 2005 636 in blue, I think it's actually quite roomy!

No points for observation i'm afraid TUG.

I know green is the fastest colour but silver is a close second.

I think it would be roomy if I was under 6 foot but alas I'm not.

Rearsets on order.

Just removed the baffle from the Micron exhaust Twisted Evil

Going to try the rearsets first, then maybe new clip ons if still having issues. Still think a jack up kit is more likely to cause handling problems.

A jack up kit wont make it feel any more roomy.

Rearsets are your best option. You could also get some clip ons that you can adjust further away from the tank so they are straighter.

End of the day, the bike was never made to be roomy. Its a racebike for the road...

About 3 weeks ago I was thinking about getting one in exactly same colour, I was even considering a short term finance. I found one for quite a good price, went to see it (J&S Accessories in Birmingham or something like that) just to see that it was on the floor quite badly sometime in the past. The swing arm rubbed the tarmac quite a bit on the right hand side, the fairings probably replaced (must have been completely f00ked). That put me off as it looked like a damage from quite an impact/speed.

But I like the look of 2005/06 ZX6R. Even this color looks nice imho.

I was just thinking the same thing.
The distance between the seat and the pegs would remain the same.

Just to increase the ride height, I'm 6'4" and the thing feels like it's going to fall over between my legs when I stand up! Laughing

I'm also 6'4....just deal with it Laughing .

Itll become too twitchy to ride if you jack it up.

This is why I love my old ZX600-J2. A lot of friends who sit on it say it is huge, but it's absolutely perfect for proper height men! Laughing
