So I'm in the market for a new Lid, the old one fits well enough to be safe, but leaves strong impression marks in my face and hair most of the time, even after short rides.

The problem being my ENORMOUS head.
Any recommendations for the large of cranium?

Shave all (the rest) of your hair off.
'Rattle can Enamel' your whole head (the colour of your choice).
Glue your old visor over the front of your face.

The PoPo won't notice anything untoward.

Put a little gold sticker on the back for an authentic look.

Thumbs Up

Ooo! Specialist subject that one.

At work we keep an Scorpion EXO900 flip-front in a 2xl - it is available in a 3xl however im yet to find a customer the 2xl doesnt fit. Airfit on those too so you'll always get a perfect sizing to your head shape.

Also consider Icon Airmadas. Icon offer them into a 3xl, and show a chart of liner thicknesses and cheekpad thicknesses so you could get a perfect fit. I opted for XS cheekpads on an Xl lid as they were 5mm thicker for a better fit on the front of my face. Heavy as a small moon but i love the graphics options! Really well ventilated too - ideal summer lid.

Cheers for the advice, do most of these specialist sizes cost extra?
The main issue for me being is I have a huge jaw and head, so the cranium part is usually too small, my face presses into the pads too much, and my jaw protrudes from the bottom, so those chin cover things I have to rip out on buying.

There isn't many places that sell lids local to me, the one that is local, I tried almost every helmet they had and they only had up to XL.
My current AGV one is XL and it only just fits really.

Is this just a shop that doesn't stock much? I assumed they only went up to XL tbh Smile

EDIT: ...I already have shaved my head, the picture above is a photograph of me.
All I need now is a gold sticker.

I must have gone into 9 local shops when looking for a helmet, I had phoned 6 of them and they all said "yeah, we'll have something to fit you."

Cheers again for the advice, I think I need to find another shop I can get to with more range and I'll hopefully find some of those.

Have exactly the same problem. It turns out that i'm closer to a 3XL than a 2. Any shops I visit mostly stock up to XL and can order in bigger ones especially for me to try out. Great!

The only lid i've found that fits my head is a Duccini D701. None of the other Duccini models fit, even though they are also 2XL fit me.

I'd love to get a nice bluetooth one or one with some better features but my big noggin prevents me Sad
