Tyco Suzuki Rider Yoshinari Matsushita sadly lost his life in an incident at Ballacrye on the TT Course during this evenings qualifying practice session. The session was red flagged following the incident.
Condolences to Yoshi's family.

Real shame.

When was the last year there wasn't a death? Must be like 8+ years, because I'm sure there has been a death every year I have watched.

:edit: Appears there hasnt been a death free year since 2001.

Ahh fair enough.

It's weird because I was just reading how Yoshi had just signed to Tyco Suzuki for the supersport race, I then closed that window down and read about his death. Sad
