ive had a mtx-125 for abit but its been stood in the garage for quite some time, i've decided to use it over winter and just got it back on the road. since running it again (only done 100miles tops) theres like a black brown gue coming out of the exhaust which is sticking to the back of the number plate.

is this normal for a bike which has been stood for abit?

Its nothing to worry about.

Provided you bike has plenty of fresh oil, water hasnt got into anywhere it isnt sposed to, it has fresh petrol, then it will run just as before.

The crap coming out of the exaust is just old fuel/oil mixture. Take the bike for a thrash, clean off the oil that comes out and you shouldnt see anymore Thumbs Up
