Received a letter from my solicitor, about my personal injury claim.

Well they are offering my just £1000 with a max of £1200! Now I'm not greedy but that seems low! I lost £700 just in recovery fees and lose of earnings.

I also done my ribs in and trapped a nerve in my shoulder that took 3 months to heal correctly. as well as the "Physiological" issue I now have.

I be ok for £2k and above!

Neutral well, to be honest, we can't give you more money, it's your solicitor you're going to need to speak to about it.

What physiological issues? You'll find big payouts are only given if the effects of the accident are permanent or make you unable to work etc £1200 for 3 months of pain sounds alright too me :p theres a website somewhere with an chart that shows injuries and how much compensation to expect.

I would accept it and be done with it all, these things are so time consuming it takes the piss. My case has been ongoing since october 05 with the other side clearly in the wrong.

If it's the first offer, use it as loo roll. Start getting interested at the third offer. Make your solicitors earn their money.

That sounds about right, I was involved in a car accident (Well 2 to be exact, both times as a passenger), was off work for 3 1/2 months lots of painkillers etc etc and the injury claim is about £2K but part of this is due to me having the 2nd accident 8 months later which caused more problems.

Wonder what I will get, mine is going through the processes now. 13Months off work, constant pain in ankles and knee, consultant says it will be like that for years. All the solicitor will say at the moment is its a substantial claim and doesn't want to give a ballpark figure until all the hospital records come through.

Take enough to cover your problems. It's people who milk the system that cause the costs to rise for eveyone else.

Used to think that before I spent my time in hospital then a wheelchair then crutches . . .etc. I'm going to milk this like a cow, there is no way i am going to come out of this when I don't know what the future brings. I can't even bend my leg enough to get on the bike yet! Thumbs Down

Timmins Lawyers kept all my compensation as payment for "fees".
I had no money, couldn't work due to my accident, had to give my kitten away as i couldn't afford to feed it any longer.

Timmins Lawyers are not to be trusted.

This may not be 100% accurate

The whole slimy annoying bandwidth stealing concept of spam was started by a husband and wife firm of weasels oops I mean lawyers attempting to cash in on vulnerable immigrants in the states. I see the amoral fuckers are still at it then.
