f*cking neighbours

This is really getting on my tits now and I just thought I'd ask for your opinions and vent my frustrations at the same time, now me and mrs live in a 2 bed apartment on the edge of a small rural village in Devon, all of us bar my neighbours are shared owners of our properties, so we have some pride in our neighbourhood.

However since the turn of the year the place opposite me that I share a communal entrance with has struggled to sell (last one left) and the housing association basically agreed to let have council tenants have it, ok fair enough I thought, il give it a go but I'm not keeping my hopes up I thought.

Well 2 ladies moved in, I introduced myself and kept myself to myself so that they didn't think I was being too intrusive. Anyway since then I've had nothing but problems.

Here are my examples;

1. They knock on my door one night and say, we are thinking of getting a dog but the housing association have said we must consider our neighbours and get your approval, ok I thought I can't see a prob with that, I've got a little dog and they're great. Well all being well except the fact they randomly let him outside where he just shits on the gravel outside, they've been told numerous times to deal with it to no avail. What really makes me laugh tho is that if they walk him further afield they always clear up, I really don't see there logic.

2. They smoke weed like its going outta fashion, now I don't mind what they choose to do in there own home but it makes our communal hall smell like a drug den!! It's not like they try to hide it.

3. They have a weird habit of parking with half they're car on the pavement outside, why I have no idea, it's not like there's no space.

4. They dump there bin bags next to our communal bins (which we asked the council for because the animals where ripping the liners open) and guess what, the cats year em open and they'res shit everywhere and they don't clean it up.

The thing that really bugs me is I've asked them a few times to sort shit out and they're nice as pie to my face, then fuck all gets done. It's like they're so stupid they don't understand what to do. I don't want to play silly buggers and wind them up but this is pissing us both off now, it's one thing after another. What should our next move be? We are considering going to the council / housing people but they're not particularly useful.

Shall I just keep asking em till they get so pissed off they actually do something?! Nightmare!!!

Stick the ripped open and shit covered rubbish bags jammed right up against their front door at night.

Maybe plant their dog's poo on top as well. I'm sure they'll take the hint.

If you wanted to be a complete **** you could also contact the police about your concern at the drug use. Although to be fair, you could just contact the housing association about that and i'm sure it would be dealt with.

Bet its a right pain for them, i have nosey neighbors just like you that dont mind there own business. Live and let live, maybe even next time they are both high go round and bash there back doors in.

First it starts off with posting stuff like you have on the internet. Next you will be on ebay looking at buying a set of binoculars.

Then you may even go as far as setting up a neighbourhood watch scheme.

Basically you need to get a hobby like motorbikeing and go round doing burn outs and wheelies to release these tensions you have causing blithering moans on the internet to complete strangers who simply dont give a flying fanny what your lesbian, smack head bestiality neighbors are up to.

If I was in your situation, I would simply tell them straight to sort it out. From the sounds of it you have tried, but have you really tried. Sometimes you have to the be the cunt to look out for your own interests. As for your bikes, buy a cheap webcam/security camera, although I wouldn't be overly worried about them getting touched. But that's me.

Neighbours suck! I've had some right dodgy ones and the thing I've learnt is just try not let it bother you.

The dodgy car parking you just have to ignore, chuckle to yourself and think of them as 'tards, but don't let it bother you.

Same with the weed... It only bothers you because you let it.

The bins... Just pick the bags up and chuck 'em in while you're doing it think that you're doing a good dead for someone incapable.

The dog shit sucks and would be the only thing I'd handle. Ask 'em repeatedly, then start bagging it up and leaving it on their door step, then stop bagging it up and leaving it on their doorstep. If there's only one issue you concentrate on they're more likely to do it and you're more likely to stay sane.
