I'm considering a Marquez/Redding double.

Rossi to not win again this year, and leave at the end of the year to go to WSB/DTM. Crutchlow to take his seat.

Marquez to win after epic battle with Lorenzo, Cal to beat Rossi again after Rossi moans about front end.

TBH, I don't care who wins, I'd just rather it wasn't Lorenzo.

Going on recent history, pedrobot is looking good for the title though, and surely Marc is going to chuck it in the kitty litter at some point?

320kph off for Marquez. He managed to crawl towards the medics.

...and now Smith.

Rossi is really pushing. Lorenzo with him all the way.

[edit] Marquez has no serious injuries.

Lorenzo Rossi Crutchlow in FP2.

As above, two big crashes, Smith potential left arm injury.

Rossi quickest most of the session, 0.034 off Lorenzo which was a lap right at the end from Lor.

Looks like Smith has got a broken arm. Does that mean there's a Tech3 for wildcarding?

Marquez suffers near 200mph crash at Mugello

Flat-out on the main straight, Marquez gets a wheel in the dirt

MARC Marquez has suffered a huge crash on the main straight at Mugello during FP2 but looks to have escaped with minor injuries.

The Repsol Honda rider crashed on the main straight after getting a wheel on the grass, he parted company with his bike and bounced through the gravel. Medical teams were instantly on the scene and Marquez was seen waving his arms as he was carried to the ambulance on a stretcher.

Initial reports claim Marquez has got away with minor injuries but no word yet as to whether he'll be back out on the bike this weekend.

UPDATE: Marquez said of the crash: "Just after the hill on the straight I grabbed for the brakes but I closed the front. I tried to save it but the bike was pulling me towards the wall so I jumped from the bike to avoid hitting it. I hit my chin hard and strained my neck quite badly I also have some contusions to my right shoulder, arm and leg but other than that I'm ok. Thanks to all the medical team that were quickly on the scene to assist me. Now I need to rest and see how I feel tonight & in the morning"

The end of Q2 was more F1 than MotoGP. Great stuff.

If the qualifying is anything to go by this is going to be a fast race with some great passes in, be good to see Rossi work his way through the pack Wink

Great work Scott!! He's made me a few quid over the last fortnight! Cool

Chuffed for Cal, wish he could have caught Dani a little quicker. Marquez needs to keep it upright and Bradley Smith has gone up in my estimation this weekend.
