So one of the links on my chain decided to break. So new chain it is.
Just wondering if there's any recommendations you guys have? Seem to be a shitload of 'em on ebay, I've heard DID's are supposed to be good?

Will be the first time getting a new chain for a bike so yeah Smile

Correct answer Razz . DID. Don't forget new sprockets whilst you're at it.

DID, Tsubaki, Renthals, Afam, Regina, RK ... they're all good. Depending on power and required durability, I'd try and get an X-ring where possible (or whatever multi-point sealing arrangement the manufacturers happen to have).

Most certainly avoid IRIS! I've had 2 iris gold chains (supposedly brand new when i purchased both the blade and the ninja) which required constant adjustment after 4k miles! And YES I was using my own lubrication system!

Last chain I had was an IRIS. They don't cope with a 33 horsey CB500 too well either. Had a massive tight spot on it as well.
