Does anyone have any tips for sorting scratches on a black swingarm besides a full powdercoat? (do that once it gets really bad)

Caused from my heels rubbing on it.

Bike is 2004 GSXR 750, seems like a satin finish.

Magic marker, Nobo dry board marker, Bingo marker (Black). Ride with the balls of your feet on the pegs instead of the instep, heel plates like bat wings, the list is endless before resorting to powder coating.

I've got the same problem. I ride with my toes on the pegs for comfort and cornering and I've managed to rub off an area on the swing arm. Was just going to coarse->fine grain sand, prime and paint, can't be that difficult.

It's because I ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs that my heels touch the swingarm, if I put my instep on the pegs there is no contact, but isn't a good position for riding.
