 |
|
Morning all,
I just returned from an early hours hoon and noticed this weird shiny thing sticking out of my tyre:
https://i1323.photobucket.com/albums/u587/mjs1066/20130605_043506_zps3270f346.jpg
Gave it a gentle tug with a pair of pliers (ooh-er Missus!) and sure enough it's a motherfucking nail. Just in time for a sunny day off work I might add. Fuck my life.
https://i1323.photobucket.com/albums/u587/mjs1066/20130605_044129_zps6c1b0fd3.jpg
Up to now I've been lucky and never had to deal with a puncture before so need to know what my options are. There's a good 2 to 3,000 mile of tread left on the tyre I reckon, so if a repair is possible how much is it likely to set me back and where should I go to get one? Or should I just cough up £100 for a new tyre?
Any advice welcome! ____________________ Previous Bikes: 2006 Honda XR125L > 2003 Yamaha DT125R > 1996 Honda CB500

I think even Paddy would baulk at plugging that.
Too close to the sidewall for comfort, I'm afraid. New tyre time. |

leave it in there for now. I had a nail in the centre of my GSXR tyre for about a year, didn't leak. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!
