 Posted: 20:11 - 04 Jun 2013 Post subject: Decent price tyre? |
 |
|
This has probably been discussed before but when I use search it doesn't load for some reason. Anyway I need a new front tyre, does anyone know of a decent site with 'cheap' prices, the eat prices I have found so far are on www.blackcircles.com. They have a pirelli Diablo for £68.
I have a 1999 hornet so finding 130/79/16 tyres is a little more challenging Knew I should have bought a 17 inch wheel when I saw one come up cheap!
Thanks for any help ____________________ Generic XOR 50, Gilera SMT 50, GSXR 400 GK73A, Ducati Monster 600, Honda Hornet 600.

Nothing wrong with Diablos, they're old hat now though, of the same ilk as the Pilot Powers I have on my Daytona now (£150 fitted, couldnt say no and got scrubs on the way for a trackday or two) but fine for the road and more than enough for any hooliganism.
I had Diablo Corsas on my hornet and liked them a lot, rears didn't last long though. Regular Diablos will give more life for less stickiness. ____________________ Triumph Daytona 675 track bike + girlfriend's Honda Hornet 600

Is it the Diablo Strada or something else?
I need new tyres for my Thundercat, but as I spend most of my time commuting I don't really need the most up to date do-everything sport touring tyre. Just something that was considered a good tyre, compared to the woeful dunlops on it now!
