General fucking about has so far proved this to be a very genuine bike. 23k miles seems fair, not come across much to suggest otherwise. Halfway through a bolt swap to stainless allen heads, I broke out the tyre pen for a bit of period touch and had a general polish up.

I have gelled very well with this bike, skinny tyres make it easy to chuck about, and there's just enough power to be interesting accompanied with a lovely warble as it comes on the pipe at about 4k rpm. I've got to the point now where I'd rather ride this than the Bandit.

Cheers guys. I've never really been a huge fan of the white tyre lettering look, however I've come to realise that's because when I've seen it on other bikes it looks like it's been applied by a blind fat man with no hands and the pen clasped between his sweaty manboobs.

Do a decent job and it looks mint I reckon.

Looks much better with a nice set of stainless bolts as well now.

Needs dommies, renthals and a turbo. Wink

But no, I'm not a fan of these bikes, oldies in general don't tickle my fancy at all, but this is stupidly tidy Laughing

I have seen one of these with an oil burner GSXR750 motor in it, so it's not outside the realms of possibility that the 1200 turbo motor would go in it...
