Hi Dudes and Dudettes,
I recentyl got my self a welder with the plan too Fabricate a ONe-Off subframe for my NC30 so that I can fit an R1 tail on to the bike.

So I'm sitting here with all the tools eager and ready to go but I do not have any materials for me to get going.

Can anyone help or point me in a direction where I could order online or somewhere based in the Middlesex area where I could travel too to do some shopping.

Korn I know you referred me to B&Q in North London. Have you got a catalogue or a online order link for me?

Thanks in an advance.

Just a guess but the only place I could say would be an engineering firm mate, surely they'd be able to sort you out some stuff. As I said just a guess, but that's where I'd try

If you aint done welding before, go raking in some skips for some scrap to practice on first. Actually, you may well find all you need in skips.

Nothing so satisfying as making something usefull and functional out of stuff other people have thrown away.

I personally can't walk past a skip.

My old man made his own paddock stand for his TL-R out of some box section and some 25mm bar. Made it so the bar's slot in the hole at the front of the swingarm and it works a treat, cost about a tenner to make as well
