Would say this is pretty cool, it shows how to remove your helmet without having to mess about with your D rings. MB if this has been posted already.

I tried it after seeing the video but I have to hold the cheek pads in when I slide me lid on otherwise they knock my ear plugs out, I can't do this at the same time as holding the strap with my thumbs.
Maybe I'm just being a spastic but I've just gone back to the old method of fastening the D-ring it only takes about 5 seconds anyway.

It had never occurred to me to use a D ring helmet any other way than that.

That said, I've got one of those clicky-ratchet "micro adjustment" straps on my new Nitro and it's even easier.

Well all those 15 seconds to undo and re do a D-Ring chin strap do all add up over 30 years

Must admit though that I did like the seatbelt type chin strap I had on one of my lids.

My lid has d rings with a small seatbelt buckle attached. Easy to do up and undo with one gloved hand. Havent had just d rings except on helmets that come with rental bikes. Ive always wondered what you d ringers do.

It does take a bit of practice to refine the technique.
When I got my first D-ring type about five years ago I kept catching the strap on my nose when taking off lid. Just gotta get that strap right up to it's little stop button before you lift off.
