So I bought the Micro Cyclone for 20 quid and thought I would take Paddy's advice and try install it myself on my GSXR. Only the alarm part, no remote start or immobiliser as I have an immobiliser on the bike.
Anywhoooooo..... installed it and great all is working and a pretty good job if you ask me
However, I noticed that when the device was connected to my left indicator and I flipped the indicator on it turned on my hazards!! I have disconnected the left indicator wire to the machine so when I arm the alarm only the right one flashes.
Indicator is fine when disconnected but turns into the hazard when connected to the alarm. Checked for loose connections or touching wires but all is good.
Any ideas????
Thought it may be inside the box thats funny but when I called the company they told me that as I tried installing it myself I have voided the warranty. Call me a weirdo but I didnt fancy paying a £129 installation fee for a £20 alarm.
TBH I dont mind too much that only the right one flashes but would be great to finish the job perfectly as this is the most I have done apart from lubing my chain. |
