Hi guys,

Please excuse my ignoraance as im just learning about bikes and am wondering about my NSR. It has been left for a few months and now does not start. The dash lights up, however I am not ablwe to bump start it. What problems could there be?

Battery?
Spark plugs?
Fuel lines?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Happy riding Smile

Try charging the battery first.

If you have tried to start it off the button with a tired battery you may also have fouled the plug so it might benefit from a clean.

Thumbs Up

If it still doesn't start, buy a can of easy start, its basically VERY flammable liquid in a can. Just spray it into the air intake and it should give the NSR the push it needs.

Good Luck

correcting the actual problem rather than masking it with something would help.

Easy-start is for engines that were running recently but now won't due to some environmental issue (i.e. cold/wet/damp) rather than a mechanical problem.

Charge the battery, clean or change the plug, it should start.

If it doesn't, only then consider binning the fuel and cleaning the carb.
