Got to admit that I thought the ITV4 TT coverage was as good as it gets, A great crew of Jamie Witham (especially), Steve Parrish, and Steve Plater, blokes who have been there and done that, gravitas all round but what's with Craig Doyle ?, other than 'conducting an orchestra' when he talks what's he there for, the 'Housewives Choice' ?. I recorded the programmes and then fast-forwarded through his irritating rattle, he achieved nothing that Whitham couldn't have done better and with some decent humour thrown in.

It was ok, but they appear to have forgotten to cover the Senior TT race which is just plain daft. I know it's in the highlight shows on Monday but that's not the point.

They covered it on Saturday night at 21:00 in a change to the schedule, pity though it's not on ITV Player from what I can see.
It was covered Saturday because of the delayed restart after spectators were injured on Friday.

My problem with this was that there was too much chat and too little racing.

He makes it more accessible to non-biking types, which in turns brings in more views and revenue. I'm sure you'll agree this can only be a good thing. Wink

It wasn't series linked on my Sky+ and I couldn't find anything when I checked to see what was on Saturday evening.

It wasn't scheduled, hence may have confused your Sky+

Fuck off.

Back on topic, I don't mind Doyle, I see the reasoning.

I don't like Parrish, not one bit.

Steve Parrish seems to think he's the world's authority on two wheels. Think he'll go with the BT lot next year? Hope so, cos I have had enough of him.

And what's with everyone referring to the bikes like "the GXSR Suzuki" or the "R1 Yamaha". Are they all that daft they can't remember who makes the bike and what the model is called? Parrish Steve is the most annoying at this but that ratfaced beady eyed annoyance Whitham James has picked it up recently too.

It's the gp commentating that boils my piss the most. He'll talk about something (that he's obviously done one a thousand times) and then ALWAYS say 'I'm talking about number 35 Cal Crutchlow / 99 Lorenzo / XXXX

That and 'gummy tyres'. Fuck off you cunt.

Whithams eyes are too close together and I'm fed up of hearing about that bike dealers in Claycross. Next time I'm out on 'my favourite ride' I won't be going to Derbyshire. So fuck off!

It's to try to get cruiser riders interested in the TT, everyone knows they froth at the crotch at the sight of a man's arse.

I thought the coverage was ok, but would have preferred more time spent on the racing.
