Jesus you couldn't be more right!! I did slip into the conversation something along the lines of... mumble... "...bought a new machine... and those new boots of yours are lovely..."

Think I got away with it...

Give her a couple of hundred quid to go shopping with. You might even get a blow job before she notices the bike. Thumbs Up

It stopped when I ragged it. ABS which is a new one for me... I gave it a fistful and that worked as well. No warping on any of the three discs.

Picked up my new tool today. Been for a short (5 mile) blast round SW London. Noticed this though when I was 'installing' my tax disk:

https://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/lozstlouis/128770C5-83E2-4095-8CAC-3A27B37E3BD7-7113-000006B244D73D8D_zps236f4afd.jpg

Looks like a staple or something stuck in it... Which is dull. Gonna take it to the boot shop in the morning get them to check it, repair it or stick on a Pilot 3... Hmmmm...

Don't get a new tyre as that one looks pretty new.

I'd be tempted to pull it out and see how deep it is. If it's through the tyre then put it back in and pump it up again to ride to the tyre shop. It doesn't look like it'd be deep but you never know.

Just pull it out. Use a needle nose or something. It's probably just a piece of glass. I get those all the time. If that's the top of a long nail, then yeah, something to worry about. Otherwise, just take them out (because otherwise they'll eventually work their way into the tyre) and carry on.

That's the thickest part of the tyre and it's got some decent tread on it as well so that would have to be over a 10mm to even come close to being dangerous.

It looks like a piece of glass or something. Pull it out, that's all they'll do at the shop.

Out of interest what tyre shop in SW London?

Also if you decide to get rid of that tyre (youre mad if you do rather than get it repaired) I'll happily have it off ya! Very Happy
