It's Been A While!

After, nearly seven years I find myself back in the UK for the next two to three years, did I miss anything?

AFAICS, there are more people, more cars, more potholes, more trees, bizarrely, less litter.
Forests of road signs seem to have sprung up at every fuckin' junction, to the point were I just CBA looking at any of them.
Riding/driving has become a, zombified, game of follow the leader, with the participants hoping that the car at the head of the queue, isn't breaking the speed limit.
Overtaking, what happened to that?
Dithering at road junctions, roundabouts, traffic lights, WTF is the matter with you lot, stop being so fuckin' polite and keep up with the traffic, FFS!
Chevron signs, the black and white arrow signs that used to indicate a sharp bend in the road, would someone care to explain why they now appear at, even, the slightest deviation from perfectly straight. WTF is the point of them if they're on, virtually, every bend on the road network?
It appears the UK has had a, rather, nasty bout of hyper inflation, while I've been away!

What else have I missed?

Anyway, I'm staying near Matlock, at the moment, so if anyone's doing the, usual Sunday afternoon thing and would like to meet up sometime, PM me. If not I'll see you at the barbie!

Well the bad news is that Woolworths, MFI, HMV, Blockbusters, Jessops, Comet, JJB Sports, Clintons Cards, Game and Aquascrotum have all gone bust. Also the Tories are in, the NHS is FUBAR'd, the Police are corrupt, the banks are buggered and the education system is beyond redemption.

Oh yes, everyone's broke and scared as you can be jailed for your thoughts. As a nation we are crushed, we bend over and take everything they thrust at us.

The good news though, is that the DFS sale is still on.
