Anyone have experience with them? They look pretty solid - fully lined kevlar, doubled up in parts - and same price as the Red Route ones I've got which have only got a small kevlar patch on the arse. Just want to make sure there's no horrendous stories before I get an order in.

Not had any experience with them particularly, but a little search to check reviews online, came up with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u_1yPMwQL8

Kevlar is kevlar is kevlar.

I own a pair and they seem ok, I've not come off at high speed though.

When they're wrecked I intend to try and belt grinder and stanley knife on them.

I own a pair of Grin Factor and Redroutes. Personally the Redrouters are much better fitting and I always where them, but the Grin Factor seem much more robust.

You can't really tell if he puts much pressure onto them though.

I agree with your scepticism.
First leather jacket it looks like he's putting all his weight onto a workbench, whereas on the jeans he's wearing it looks like a lot less pressure is applied.

I believe that the kevlar is very good, I just find this video a bit misleading, and consequently annoying. Watching it, it takes longer to go through the plain denim top layer than to go through the leather jacket. I'm struggling to buy that.

I want to do the stanley knife test, but I really don't want to ruin the trousers.
And you won't really get the same friction from the road as a belt grinder, I reckon the guy is 90% full of sh*te.
