Next door workshy has just popped round to say that there were two lads in my back garden between my sheds checking the place out and my bike. Bugger didn't call the police at the time ( I was on nights) everything is battened down, but it just pisses me off that the shits are trying to do something.

Chain it up like a circus animal Sad

I had a similar problem last year. 'Window cleaners' confused my house with one they 'had permission' to come over the wall of, of course...

Found some stuff had been moved in the garage as well as my bike chain clearly having been wiggled as i always left it in the same position.

Motivated me to get an alarm fitted, and now have it chained up and disc locked within an inch of its life on alarm 24 7, luckily they never came back yet touchwood.

You would too if you knew him. Professional sick person who can do building and painting jobs around the house, up and down ladders and all that, but needs a walking stick to go to the free taxi for his hospital appointments and benefit collection.

Gumtree Arrow "dog" Arrow "three year old male german shepherd husky for sale, £75"

Cheaper than a chain, and you don't even have to feed it, just let it eat them then flog it on.

screw high voltage - high current, kill the little bastards

yes yes everyone thinky high voltage is dangerous, not not realy, as little as 0.6amp can kill a person, yet people can servive several thousand volts and less current - greanted they did have some burns and nerve damage

You need a decent level of voltage to ensure that a high current will flow. Wink

truck battery will do the job - heck a hefty car battery.

i know alot of bike battery will give off over 100 cranking amps at 12v.

also should ideally be dc and not ac current, ac it relativly safe.

also alot of it will be affected by the rest of the circuit, i am designing a circuit atm that will drive nearly 2amps at 2.3v. if i can get the right driver i may be able to go as far as 4amps and 2.3v

If someone is keeping an eye out for my bike then they can claim all the fraudulent benefits they like.

In my world my bike is more important than judging someone for successfully scamming benefit money.

He is the sort who would watch your bike being taken away and only say something about it the next afternoon. He wouldn't phone the Police even if my life depended on it. Some people are just like that, don't want to get involved, don't want to put their heads up above the parapet because if they do they are scared they will be scrutinised and found out.

Not necessarily.... what you need is a path of low resistance.

12vdc won't put any amps through a human body's impedance. I got a 115vdc belt last week and it wasn't too bad. Luckily for me it was pulsed and felt like AC so I let go quick.

I've had a few 230v ac shocks over last few years. One that passed up one arm, through heart, and back down other.

2 cigarettes and I was fine.

If you want to do a proper job, use 3 phase Thumbs Up
