If so what receiver do you use? Is 10Hz really better than 5Hz?

I'm looking to pair it with my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 phone.

10hz will be a lot more accurate. Tried racechrono just using my phone and it was useless!

Got a starlane gps 3x now Very Happy

i downloaded a few a while back and most free ones are useless, pretty sure racechrono was one ... i bought' Trackeroo' for about 8 quid and it works great on my Samsung, can't remember name but its bottom of the range smart phone, i also have a ACE 2 but i consider that too good a phone to strap it my bike Very Happy , i would recommend paying for Trackeroo opposed to dicking around with something that may or may not work.... these days, with smart phones there is no need to buy 'Starlane'.. i also use same phone with the app from Google "my tracks" for trail-riding and cycling, great for avg speed etc Thumbs Up

Phones won’t flash as you go through each sector to tell you that you’re on your quickest lap time for qualifying.
