Between 7pm and 5.30am December 2/3 my RVF was stolen from the London Horton Street carpark W8.

I'm totally gutted as it was my prize posession.

Put yourself in my position and please be on the lookout for this, I'd really like it back...

https://www.joeln.com/bikes/rvf/nc35.jpg

- Reg R986 CUR - Approx 18k on the clock
- The V in RVF on the left lower fairing is clearly scuffed
- The lugs on the rear end plastics are superglued and there is a crack near where the seat screws on.
- The upper right fairing bit has a chip near the top
- Fibrelyte carbon Yoke protector, instrument surround and motrax tank protector.
- The screen, although original, has a misty marks on it.
- The bike will self destruct if driven over 35MPH killing the thief instantly.[img][/img]

Thanks very very much.

Will keep eyes open for it, couple of points though.

Be worth giving the regitration of it and the numbers for it as it is basically a RVF400 with a carbon yoke protector, tank pad and a clear screen of which I would say there are lots around the country.

Also, be worth putting a phone number and/or an e-mail address so people can contact you if they spot it or think they've spotted it.

I'll be riding around london tomorrow, so will be looking for any R Reg NC35 sounding quite loud in NW - Edgware-Hendon-Harrow area. Hope it's in your hands soon and not in pieces being broken.

Stupid question maybe,

But number plate etc?

And maybe the engine number to etc.. someone might see it in a showroom or something? (or be buying one and see it)

Professionals probably change all this quick enough, but you never know it might help if they havnt got a clue or are oppertunists.

It had an oxford monster chain and giant victory disc lock and was covered for what that was worth. It was not alarmed, and to be honest had it been I don't think it would have made any difference :/

I'll be checking the obvious places but reckon it was stolen to order, most likley for track goers.

Used to work with some arsehole who thought he was the dogs cos he could get any bike to order. Let's just say the bloke was a complete twat and didn't last at the firm five minutes. Funniest thing I heard him say was that he had a "YSX R6", would of helped if he had any clue what he was talking about. He kept on about getting a bike, said he was getting an R6, turned up 2 days later on a Gilera Runner, I was pissing myself.

Sorry to hear your bike was nicked mate, I'm gutted for you cos that's the nuts mate. If I'm in the area I'll keep my eye out, but as others have said, check ebay Thumbs Up

Bad news, really horrible. I know how you feel, and you must be just sick to the bones.
Was it chained to anything?

Eeeek, we are using a monster chain. Sad

I hope that it is spotted and you get it back, if not, I hope the theives are caught.
Best of luck finding it.

Registered 1997 on R plate.

Superb condition.

Shows 18000k on the clock but the last 1000 is miles as speedo was converted.

Has a race can, but the original is with it.

Currently owned by a lady rider.

You'll be hard pushed to find a better example at this price.

£3,350.

Contact 07789 881916.

Similar, but doubtful if it's dodgy if they've got the original pipe as well as stating something like the speedo change imo.

He didn't actually state if it was chained *to* anything or not.

And as we all know, thieves can cut through any chain given determination and the right tools. Unfortunately.
