I've dyed leather boots black.
A couple of bottles of dye. Several coats. Patience while it's drying.
Polish 'em up afterwards.
These were yellow+black boots, sadly I've not got pics as the boots have since been sold.
We've bought 'black' boots on ebay that were a terrible dye job. Originally the boots were red.
We did a good dye job and the boots became an even black. Again, not got them anymore.
So the answer is YES, you can dye leathers. |
