Yeah I think it's shit. The only thing missing is a giant cock on the seat that you can sit on.

Whatever floats your boat. It's a Honda so I'd assume it is all screwed together properly and reliable.

Comes with the same engine as the Varadero so bomb proof.

Soooo, basically, your Vara is an arseless-chaps cruiser with a different frame, plastics, tank, bars and lights.

I see.

My uncle has one as an injury to his hip (needs a hip replacement but if he takes the time off to do so he is convinced his business will go bust)

This injury prevents him getting his leg over a much taller bike, so he's got the shadow for doing longer runs out at the weekend as it's more comfortable, he also has a vanvan he bought with the intent of doing his test, however he was unaware of the new licence laws coming in so missed the window to do it.

He's also got a BSA bantam tucked away that he can only ride for 10 mins or so at a time.

If you accept that its a 125 cruiser, and therefore pretty rubbish, then its one of the better ones. It has an actual V-twin engine, albeit a tiny one. If you like the looks, and you want a 125, go for it. People on BCF will take the piss though. Obviously.

Or to put it another way,

If you want a 125cc (for any reason from learner legal to lower fuel costs etc) and want a cruiser, it's probably the one to go for.

Having had a varadero myself, I can side with Paddy on the fact the engine is solid, reliable and will actually move the thing with you on it provided you let it rev a bit.
