Hi everyone,
I was on my way to work yesterday and the bike started to cut out like i was running out of fuel, then it stopped running.
Long story short, AA man pulled off the fuel pump connector block, sprayed contact spray in there and then plugged it back in and hey presto, it starts up and runs ok again.
I've inspected the contacts on the pump and they are clean as a whistle, so I am just wondering if its the pump itself on the way out and if its going to happen again?
Should I fit a new one just in case?
new pump is £110 minimum for my bike so if i can avoid getting a new one for a while I would prefer that.
any advice appreciated, only been riding about 2 years and not all that mechanically experienced, although owning a Hyo seems to be changing that lol

cheers paddy, i'll double check everything back from the pump connector, could well be a problem in that direction.
if i find nothing wrong with wires, do you reckon its safest to just change the pump? ____________________ --Current Bike: '98 Hornet CB600F
