Apparently caught doing 73 in a 50 according to their radar gun.

The second he got out of the car, he cautioned me, so I didn't see the point of saying anything else.

Waiting for a FPN or whatever, do they still have to be served within 14 days as per NIPs, or is it different?

Was it one of those clucking hay 'recently reduced' former national speed limit roads? We got one down near me, a stretch of the A610 that is literally 3 miles of straight open dual carriageway that has been reduced from NSL to 40 in parts. Bacon patrol it 9-5 MON-FRI in their unmarked Skoda collectin' dem taxies.

I got followed and subsequently pulled over for doing 107 in a 70. They issues me with some paperwork there and then, me being lazy didn't pay until the last day.

They refunded me, didn't give me points/fine/ass rape and returned my licence to me as they had cocked up somewhere down the line.

Cross fingers, hope for the best

Maybe just chuck it in there with any "whitness" statements if you have any, ie people that have been down that road the same day and seen him doing it.

What skodas on the a610??? The speed limits there are bollocks and tend to truck down it a fair rate in the car. I live in Langley mill

Lazer guns have a beam spread of about 4 feet per 1000 feet of range*, it is not the pinpoint that they claim, in my case the solicitor was all set to discredit the reading because at the range (1570Ft) the beam was over 6' across and could not be focused on a flat part of the bike.

What range did they get you at?



*This figure varies dependent on the lazer used, in my case it was 4' for every 1000'
