Im thinking more of it being less cold on the old face, Ive got a half shell and bog standard pen face, just keep the full face for long runs when Im needing to nip on a bit

TBH I thought it looked quite cool, but then I tried one and it's a shitload of money for what is essentially, as someone else described it in the other thread, a poncy open face helmet and a paintball mask.

so basically all I have to do is to get one of those black neoprene balaclava thingies with the built in anti fog anti scratch goggles.

We tried them on at the store in Swindon. They look cool as fuck in the flesh but the goggles hurt like a bastard when they snap down into place if you don't lift them out of position just right.

I can't imagine they offer a lot more protection than a regular piss-pot but you could make small children cry with a stare.
