I think there was auto spamming code added to ensure people with fake accounts were not bumping themselves up the karma ladder. It'll be interesting to see what happens when a revoke is revoked.

Why does Karma matter so much. I got mine up to 5 green blobs and then it dipped to 4 after someone gave me a negative rating for a post I made aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago.

OK, boo hoo, Im on 4 green blobs of karma. Is it such a big deal?

(This similar to the e-bay thing. Someone gives me negative rating purely on the basis I gave you a negative rating due to poor service. O dear, my rating has now dropped to 5,000 while you are now trying to sell stuff with a negative rating on your feedback service. )

Are green blobs of karma such a bad thing to have. Surely its better than red blobs?
