How long? What's it worth?

So my my split up with her partner. He has moved all his stuff out the house and hasent been in contact the last month, but left one thing, his speakers for his guitar. I don't have a clue what kind it is bits its pretty big, it's a hayden peacemaker 412 f.
lve told my mum to sell but it she's worried incase he turns up wanting it back. So can my mum legal sell it? How long dose it have to be left there for it to legally become my mums? Or dose it never happen.
Also dose anyone know what it's worth? I've had a quick google but find much expect yank sites.

Another ten years and you could sell it as a classic , or retro .
As I explained to my grown up kids ...retro means old crap to over 40's.
