Laughing LOL.

'But the British Parking Association, which represents parking
enforcement firms, attacked the advertisements. BPA chief executive-Keith Banbury said: "It is hard to imagine a more irresponsible way of promoting a business. The truth is many parking attendants face daily abuse, racism and violence.'
Wonder why. Twisted Evil

I'ts worth the effort to appeal; I've managed to get all but one ticket and one bus lane fine overturned and considering I was courier up until earlier this year, I had a few.
It's awesome to get a letter in the post that basically amounts to them saying 'you win, we lose' Very Happy

I thought Traffic Wardens were bad, until I got my car clamped in the DVLA visitors carpark yesterday. Your allowed to visit for 45 minutes and they mean 45 minutes, clamped.

£135 to release the car, if they had towed it before I got back it would have been £235 + £25 for each night they held it.

£135 Shocked

I didn't even get to keep the bloody clamp!

I laugh my tits off every time some selfish twat takes a disabled/resident parking space in my street, 30 minutes and the tosser is ticketed. Thumbs Up They're doing a grand job round here. Laughing They ignore the bike wherever I've parked it too. Smile

I don't have much of a gripe with traffic wardens up here. You park illegally, you get ticketed. Seems fair enough to me. I don't think they are as bad where I live as from what I hear about elsewhere.

We have a traffic warden in our town on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've never known him give a ticket to anyone, all he does is talk to all the old women in the middle of the car park as they walk back to their cars, causing all the cars trying to get in or out to queue up Very Happy

A friends of my uncles lives in St Albans. Up until October they had NO parking wardens and the streets were a free-for-all. Then a private firm came in and has gone nuts with tickets.

And to make it all worse, the city council have issued 400 parking permits for 140 spaces!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

I have never in my life seen a traffic warden in the town I live in. I think that's because most of the streets are privately owned by the housing estates they are in. Hence no yellow lines. Mr. Green

What's a traffic warden? Thinking

Are they those things you only get in England??? Laughing

I love Scotland - hardly any speed cameras, not much traffic Cops and hardly any traffic wardens.

You lot should think of relocation! Laughing

I heard recently, that there was an accident, the road was closed and all the traffic held up...................and they ticketed them for illegal parking!!!!!!!! I can't believe it, there would be uproar, people are already stressed enough in a situation like that, they'd kill them!

Parking Attendants (what they are known as in London) have a
deathwish. I wished that we went back to the old proper traffic
wardens, they were fair, PA's are just in it for the bonus. They are
the kind of shitebags who will ticket a car standing in traffic.

BTW, I got a ticket for parking outside a PUBLIC TOILET, I kicked the
attendant up the arse VERY HARD, twas lucky I didn't re-arrange his
face.
