The bike's been great for the past couple of weeks until this evening when, while being a bit lower on fuel than I normally go it's started being jerky at lower revs as though I'm being given a small push from behind as the revs rise instead of being smooth as it normally is.

I'm wondering if this is just me being crap and nervous riding in the wet,

I was in a rush leaving work so didn't let the bike warm up as I normally do, instead I started it, helmet on, rode away with choke still on, dropping the choke off as I got moving into stop-start traffic.

at one point I gave the throttle a quick twist up to about 11,000 to try and clear and settle it which seemed to help, after which traffic cleared so didn't notice any issue until after I'd stopped for fuel.

Or could it be something a bit more sinister such as miss-firing or damp electrics?

advice / suggestions please.

Have a quick look in your tank, is it clean?

My bike is always jerky if I don't let it warm up. Even when I take the choke off after I get moving it's a bit jerky for a few min until it's warmed up properly. Something to do with the oxygen-fuel ratio at lower temperatures. How long did the problems last?

pretty much all the way home, although I did stop for fuel so perhaps re-started the issue,

Chucked premium unleaded in in the hope of flushing anything through.

wonder if it's like you say, a bit jerky when not allowed to warm up and the restrictors make it more pronounced.

I'll see how it is tomorrow.

was doing it a bit this morning until after I'd stopped myself from looking out for it happening

had no issues this evening.

guess it was me worrying and then starting to ride in such a way that made it more noticeable.
