Driver is a prick. Biker is a whining snivelling school boy. Please Miss, please Miss.

All IMO.

Driver was a tool but nobody likes a grass - especially one who doesn't know that it's "should have" and not "should of".

The driver is a total idiot, however, the biker didn't really need to attempt to undertake him on that corner!

As bad as each other IMO.

All well and good until it happens to you when you've apparently "wronged" someone.

And TBF the cager could just claim to be in fear of his life. Even with the video evidence they'd be pretty plausible. A bit of crocodile tears, bosh.

I see your point, I would never go to the fuzz in situations like this, but otherwise, you can either do one of two things, a) square up to the guy for being a twat and possibly have to fight him. We all know that violence isn't big nor clever and we'd probably end up in the shit for it. Or b) shut up, pussy out and let the car driver harass you and think he can get away with that behaviour and maybe one day let his rage get the better of him and end up in a serious incident.

I think the cops having a word was a fine outcome and a good reminder to the car driver about his attitude.

Yeahhhh, I sort of get that, but the police acting on someone just having a gripe is open to abuse. I just hope they do no more than have a chat without at least one more independent witness.

Was behind the biker, until he ran to the police. Come on get a grip, reminds me of a 4 year old running to the teacher.

Dude had a camera strapped to his head! What more evidence could ever be needed?

I kind of feel for the car driver.

Exhibition Road used to be laid out a little like a dual carriageway. Look at Queen’s Gate on StreetView and Exhibition Road used to be a lot like that before they pedestrianised half of it, laid pretty bricks and removed all road markings.

Dude possibly just hadn’t driven down the road for a couple of years.

He was still a dick for the cut up and brake testing though.

Its a male code.

Once upon a time two 'associates' of mine (Not necessarily well acquainted themselves) had a falling out. One night outside a club they got into a bit of a brawl, Fella A knocked Fella B to the ground, A whiney girl from Fella B's entourage started screaming over at police to come assist. The situation diffused and both men were cuffed, detained and questioned by the side of the street. Fella B who was visibly injured chose to make no statement as did Fella A and no charges were pressed. Both men were released without charge.

Police are just out for themselves. If its man to man, you keep it that way. Don't let any of the legal scum (Police/Lawyers/Judges) capitalize on your beef, its your (tax payers) money mind. So that's why we don't entertain them.

Erm. Right at the start of the vid, the driver says he made a mistake, and sounded pretty genuine to me - angry but genuine. I can imagine doing the same thing on a road like that. It was an odd layout, really didn't look like it was two lanes. But the motorcyclist, in all his helmet-cam glory, then decided to continue with the argument, literally just because it was on video so his brain went into 'let's make this more exciting' mode, instead of resolving it quickly and G-ing T F O as soon as possible.

Driver made a mistake, motorcyclist made him feel bad about it, they argued, motorcyclist went way too far, exacerbated by youtube egotism.

Note how comments for the vid are disabled.

If you notice, the biker simple points out it's one way, and then the car driver kicks off, flying past him and then hitting his brakes. Car driver has already flipped at this point.

Can see how they wound each other up..

Was in a similar situation a few days ago, sat in the car with my dad. Coming upto a junction with a set of lights where it goes from a single lane into two, where the left hand goes left and the right goes straight ahead. The lights had just gone red.

Because of oncoming traffic the gap wasnt quite big enough for our car to slip into the right handd side to go forward, so we were waiting for the gap to open up slightly as we rolled forward so slot in, the cars body language was set diagonally so it was clear where we were aiming to go.

An opportunity presents itself and a gap appears so my dad goes to move into the lane.

At this precise moment a guy on a bmw gs1200 shoots past and makes out like we were trying to drive into him. Cue him sat infront of us for the next 5 minutes making all kinds of gestures, shaking his head, shrugging, Seriously winding us up.

Eh?

Both acted kinda dickish tbh, but the car driver brake-checking was uncalled for, cagers don't seem to realise that even a small shunt at a bike can cause something serious. The biker defo had a HelmetCamBoner though.

With regards to the police, I'm kinda on the fence.

I don't buy into any of the old 'don't be a snitch / grass' bollocks.. What are we Italian-American gangsters now?? There are some situations, probably in every riders life that they'd wish the police were there when something has happened. I was assaulted on my BMX by a motorist years ago when I was 15. No witnesses, police did nothing even though I got his full reg. number. So there are times that the police could be involved. However, I don't think this was one of them. Slow speed cut up, exchange of a few naughty words, could've left it at that.

For the 165746th time ... I'm so glad I don't live in London. I'd drive through it but never ride. What a messed up place.

Hang on a minute, the point at which the car driver realised it wasn't a one way street (when the biker told him rapidly followed by oncoming vehicles) was when he should've started indicating and pulled into the correct lane. Instead he floored it across the junction into head on traffic and then cut up the biker and wasn't a mile off hitting the cyclist.
Sure, no ones perfect, but he's been a total knob at that point.
Subsequent brake checks were absolutely intended to have him off the bike, and he only got out of the car in order to intimidate the biker.
The biker has given him a load of verbal and is leaving it at that when he sees plod and figures, fck it, this guys pssd me right off.

I'm not saying I would have behaved in the same way, but I don't have a problem with what he did.

+1, full of very angry motorists! My mate has moved down there from Yorkshire and he fucking hates driving down there, so much so that he catches the train to work and leaves his new C63 AMG at home!
