You can sign up to get email bulletins. Three times, even:
Info list.
Network list.
Activists list.
I can't really see the point of paying £25 a year though even if it does generate some top drama. I guess it'll come down to your local group and whether you want to get involved with it. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Fairly sure it listed somewhere on the site before. Dont know if its really worth membership to be honest but very good organisation. Worth a fortnightly check to see any news updates. They made good progress petition MEPs past year about proposed EU laws/mass control |

IMO MAG would be a better bet than the alternative biker group, the BMF.
The difference IMHO is that MAG actually will campaign and raise issues. BMF are more interested in 'lobbying' which as far as I can tell involves getting close to MPs and their parliamentary committees and just agreeing with them!
As an example in the past when there was talk of electronic speed control devices on motorcycles they agreed it was a good idea and workable. This despite that the system would activate mid corner/lean if it thought you were speeding. So that'd be quite dangerous yet BMF saw no problem!
Of course tht's my recollection, anyone from BMF please come along and give their views.
On topic it might be a better bet to join a general bike/owners club that's affiliated to MAG (or BMF).
With BMF IIRC you can get reduced entry fee for member/associate to their Peterborough show. That was one of the (few) benefits mentioned to me when I ask why join at the NEC motorbike show.
As regards money if anyone has £25 or so spare then from a biking point of view it might be better used throwing it at National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD). ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...
Gibbs, what did Duckie look like when he was younger?

Oops!
Now that I'm a bona fide Big Boy Biker, I am going to give the Glasgow lot a try, dip the tip, so to speak. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
