The rev counter cable has just started slowly leaking onto the engine of my Suzuki gn 125, anyone know the cause of this and how to fix?

I presume it's leaking from the end that attaches to the engine?

It could be as simple as it having come a bit loose and needs tightening up.

Or the flange on the end where the cable outer butts against the stub on the engine could be deformed in which case it would need bending back into shape or replacing.
